We are receiving orders from companies for custom-made KIMONO sandals and bags with original equipment manufacturer order production.
While keeping the tradition, we think that we have a point of view to create a new shape with commitment to Japanese sandals and bag and to inherit Japanese tradition leading to the future.

In the factory of the first floor, we set up large machinery, etc., we are doing with a solid feeling of skilled workers, such as cutting of the belt used for bags and cutting of "core" which becomes the base of sandals.
After all the processes except finishing of the "core" and "heaven" parts of the sandals, they are entrusted to a manual craftworker in the atelier.
With the installation of a large-sized cutting machine, it is also equipped with large formatting machines, specialized in-house workers who received their own lecturers and abundant human resources and can handle large orders.
ATELIER
At the second floor atelier, specialized craftsmen are in charge of a series of work mainly from manual work and sewing machines to finishing and inspection of the final process. In the creative field, we have a planning office within our company, aiming to create products that meet customer needs, such as proposing new designs and customizing existing designs.

What we are working on is “bag” for kimono and “zouri”.
We produce new designs and products on a daily basis from careful discussions between craftsmen and planning staff from among various kinds of variations such as ribbons used for the body part of bags, leather fabrics, and spinnerets.
Depending on various histories and traditions, bags will need to be dressed according to the type of kimono and TPO.
We will make various proposals with knowledge cultivated through wholesale manufacturing industry of kimono zouri and bags.

The origin of “RAKUTO” included the meaning of being able to walk easily.
Based on the know-how of sandals manufacturing so far, we began developing new sewing core products specialized
for usability.
The new sandals had three features, “light, tired and comfortable”, and it was easy to enjoy the burden on the feet,
I wanted them to feel more familiar with kimonos and enjoyed them
